Base Camp

Located on Winfield Farm just outside of downtown Highlands in Scaly Mountain, NC, Bear Shadow’s “Base Camp” is where all the festival action happens. From The Bear Den, where you can grab your beverages and merchandise to the food court and Makers area, there’s acres of rolling space to appreciate the beauty and splendor of nature in the last few ridges of the Appalachian Mountains. As expansive as it is, our complimentary shuttle buses from Kelsey-Hutchinson Park take you right to the front gate or park and take a short jaunt from the lot.
